We live nearby and saw many passers-by walking in, so we went in to try it out and experience authentic French food! We don&rsquo;t speak French or English, and it took us more than half an hour to look at the menu. In the end, we ordered a set meal, 47 euros per person, with two main dishes. The taste was pretty good, but I didn&rsquo;t know what it was. A glass of green was served, but I couldn&rsquo;t tell what it was in the end. Maybe it was edamame? Or it&rsquo;s hard to say what it was! The service was really good and it felt great! Every dish was delicious! It just took too long to eat, three hours, and in the end I couldn&rsquo;t eat anymore, so I asked the waiter to pay the bill, but he brought us six more snacks! It&rsquo;s a pity that I didn&rsquo;t order a bottle of red wine. I hope I can go there again if I have the chance~!!

The glass wine choice was really good and our starters excellent. When it came to our main course C&ocirc;te de veau was overdone and dry.

A lovely restaurant and setting by the pool. Whilst there is a children&rsquo;s menu and their food was good, I&rsquo;d say this is more of an adults only place, given the food and wine quality. The service was a little hit &amp; miss at times. Overall a nice evening.

Last year it was much better and more special

Overall, this shop is pretty good. For meat lovers, of course, you have to eat meat. I ordered a fried thing, which tasted quite juicy. It also came with a dipping sauce, which tasted great. The sauce was light and moderate in flavor. I liked it very much and gave it a thumbs up.

Typical french. Good food. Good wine. Friendly poeple. We had a good time there.

就住在附近~在路边看到很多路人走进去，我们也就进去试一试~体验一下正宗法餐！法语不会，英语也不行，光看菜单就用了半个多小时，最后还是点了个套餐，一人47欧，两道主菜。味道都还是挺不错的，就是吃的不知道是什么。上来一杯绿色的，到最后也没有尝出来是什么，也许是毛豆？或者是什么也不好说！服务真的很好，感觉很棒！每道菜都很美味！就是吃的时间太长了，三个小时，最后实在是吃不动了，让服务员结账，没想到又端上来六个小点心！没有点一瓶红酒比较可惜，希望有机会还能去~！！

The service was impeccable, the staff really helpful. The food was incroyable.. we both opted for each of the set menus and each dish out did each other. The cook on the dishes were perfect and the flavours shone through. We chose the wine pairing menu to accompany our dishes and each wine suggested paired perfectly with the chosen dishes.  We could not fault this restaurant and would highly recommend. If you are in Beaune you could not do better than to pay a visit to Le Cheval Noir

The three course menu is beautifully prepared, plated, and served. The quality-to-price ratio is very high. The atmosphere is conducive to conversation. The staff is extremely helpful.

We ate here last year on the way back from The Alpes and our second visit did not disappoint. Delicious food beautifully presented and excellent value. The tables in the restaurant are well spaced and it has a lovely ambience. Our only disappointment was that it was not open when we passed through in early January!

Food was terrific and exceeded our expectations.  Service was lumpy.  Our server was not as attentive as he should have been.  Ambiance was fine.  A very good and not overpowering wine list.

The boeuf and lapin dishes were excellent, as was the local cheese selection for the desert. Great food without too much pretentious pfaff.

The food tastes good in this restaurant and the service is a little bit unable to keep up.
